The NSS (National Service Scheme) was launched in India on 24th September 1969, the birth centenary year of Mahatma Gandhi. Its main objective is personality development through community services. It provides opportunities to the students to participate in different community development service programmes which enables them to get experience and exposure even outside the educational institution. The motto of NSS is “NOT ME BUT YOU’’, which upholds the need for selfless service and appreciation of others point of view and also to show consideration for fellow human beings.
Keeping in mind the aims and objectives of NSS, the Madhabdev College Unit of NSS has been rendering its best to contribute to the nation building process through various community services.
